  - builds simplified, ALL builds now contain anticheat server support
    - only the win32 client will load anticheat.dll, but it will fail server validation
      due to not being able to get the build validated at this point as far as I'm aware
  - variable fps support is in the vfps builds
  - including a conback.pcx file in baseq2/pics/ that may or may not work, as well as the
    core pcx files you need to start q2pro with nothing else

July 8th, 2026
  - src/server/main.c: attempt to clear out some mod variables that were preventing version string from
    showing up because the total serverinfo output string is too long
  - version.py: remove the ~sha hash from the final build version string
